We have extensive experience on the already existing nanotechnology-based solutions, the synthesis of new nanoparticles and nanomaterials to further exploit their properties and the scale up of laboratory scale recipes of nanomaterials to industrial scale production, guiding you through the TRL ladder, and characterization of nanoparticles in simple and complex matrices.

 

We  can help you to know and understand the potential uses of nanotechnology, propose a solution to fulfil your needs and ultimately, guide you through the technical and legal requirements to achieve industrial scale production and commercialization based on the principle of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).

 

We base our technical services on the expertise of our founders and members on synthesis, behaviour and characterization of nanoparticles (NPs) acquired within the Inorganic Nanoparticles Group of the Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology (ICN) lead by Prof. Víctor Puntes.

Detection and Characterization Capabilities

 

We offer from simple characterization to elaborated plans of hyphenated characterization techniques to evaluate the content in nanoparticles and their composition in complex matrices

 

Our detection and characterization techniques include:

  • Size distribution of Nanoparticles by TEM Imaging  and DLS,
  • Surface charge by Zeta-Potential,
  • UV-Vis Spectroscopy
  • Powder XRD
  • Content determination  by ICP-MS
  • Magnetometric measurements (hysteresis loop) using Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID).
